Early in the camp season, campers sit down at the drawing board and decide what sort of structures they would like to build at camp. Sketches are drawn, materials lists made up, orders placed and building is under-way.

In recent years campers have built 4 baseball dug-outs, a lookout tower, 2 bridges over the pond, a fishing dock and a boating dock, 1 small tractor barn, an annex to the woodworking shop and a woodshed for the pioneering area. Measuring, cutting, nailing, roofing, post holes and cement are all in a day's work.

Most boys like to play together. These guys would rather work together.
